Laura has an MA in Creative Writing and works with freelance clients to create digital content and copy for brands and businesses. Working across a wide variety of sectors, changing voice, style and tone depending on audience needs.
As the founder of Derbyshire Writing School, Laura is passionate about helping others write their own stories, and regularly teaches engaging memoir courses. Laura has worked with private clients to offer editorial and developmental support, crafting shorter personal family stories. This work demands quick rapport building and strong empathy skills.
Laura is also a lecturer and teaches at the University of Derby.
